Dell goes green this World Environment Day

Dell went from blue to green by planting a vegetable garden for the students at Christel House South Africa (CHSA), a Dell Powering the Possible partner, for World Environment Day. CHSA is a school in Cape Town for underprivileged students with the aim to help the break the cycle of poverty and become self-sufficient through education.

World Environment Day began back in 1972 and has grown since then to become an annual worldwide vehicle to stimulate awareness of the environment. The community helped to build the garden and plant veggies. The entire crop will go towards feeding the children at the school and community. The launch officially took place on 27 June. Parents of students were invited to attend to witness this great contribution to the community.

Dell is very proud to be part of this investment and know that this will be a great long term asset to the school. Thank you to CHSA and all the green fingers that helped in the launch.
